Parents are ridiculously sentimental when it comes to their children – and rightfully so! We want to record every detail of our babies’ lives, all the way to adulthood (they never really stop being our babies, do they?).
And there’s a new way to record baby milestones.
Scrapbooking is not everyone’s cuppa but computers are pretty much part of everyone’s day-to-day, which makes on online baby journal totally logical.
I’m sort of old-school when it comes to recording my babies’ memories but what seems to happen is that don’t fill in the book when the momentous event actually happens; then I decide to update the book months later but have forgotten when teeth, sitting, eating and all that first happened. So (but don’t tell anyone – especially not my children), I sort of guesstimate the dates.
If you’re anything like me, Your Baby’s Milestones is unique baby journal software (for Windows or Mac) might be a brilliant lifesaver when it comes to recording memories.
For me, the draw card is the convenience; I work at a computer every day and filling in a quick note in my baby’s digital journal would be far easier than dragging out the ol’ scrapbook. The journal is however also designed especially for mums and dads who are busy (aren’t we all) and only have seconds to record memories.
The baby journal lasts from 0-5 years of age, can be shared online or printed (the grannies will love this) and because of its digital format can include video clips too!
Are you good are recording your baby’s milestones? How do you do it – scrapbook or by digital means?
