Celebrities seem to have an uncanny knack of looking great and brimming with radiance and vitality throughout their pregnancy.

If you are determined to share celebrities’ ability to sparkle and shine for the duration of their pregnancy, then read on as we take a look at five pregnancy tips from celebrity mums.

Victoria Beckham

When asked to name a celebrity mum, Victoria Beckham immediately springs to mind. The mum of four seems to look even better with each subsequent pregnancy. So how exactly does she do it?

According to hubby David, it all boils down to smoked salmon, and Victoria can’t ‘get enough smoked salmon when pregnant’.

Courtney Cox

Courtney Cox may have been approaching 40 when she gave birth to her daughter but that didn’t stop her looking and feeling great during and after her pregnancy. The celebrity mum recommends yoga and martial arts as a means of maintaining a great appearance whilst pregnant and after giving birth.

“I practise Budokon. It’s a fitness regime that includes yoga and martial arts, a mind-body workout. T’s a combination of meditation, stretching and cardio exercises that develop strength and flexibility.”

Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett on the other hand is an advocator of eating exactly what you want as a means of looking good whilst pregnant.

“I refuse to worry about all that fitness stuff. Being a mother is exercise enough for me,” advises the celebrity mum of two.

Catherine Zeta Jones

In eating a healthy, well-balanced diet and taking regular exercise including yoga, the mum of two managed to maintain her glowing appearance throughout both of her pregnancies.

“During pregnancy I tried to eat well to keep up my energy levels. Three meals a day, a nice mixed diet. I love chocolate, ice-cream and cakes, so that had to go straight away. I had to push myself to get to the gym – once I was there I was fine. I also did yoga. I have a crazy frantic side, and yoga refocuses the energy,” the actress admitted.

Julia Roberts

Now being a mum to twins must take a greater toll on the body than carrying just one baby, right? Well you’d have thought so although judging by how quickly Julia Roberts regained her fantastic figure, you would never have known that the Hollywood actress has carried twins.

Talking about the importance of being comfortable with your body whilst you are pregnant, Julia Roberts said:

“My stomach was enormous and the bigger it got the smaller my ass looked so I kind of enjoyed it. I felt great.”
